(Luton, UK – 11 April, 2017) – Monarch, a leading low cost airline and holiday company, is expecting a 20% increase in passenger numbers over the Easter weekend compared to last year.

Monarch flight only customers are clearly in search of guaranteed sunshine, with the Canaries and mainland Spain, including Tenerife, Malaga and Alicante, proving the most popular destinations over the Easter holidays

Monarch Holidays’ customers are continuing with the Canaries trend – Tenerife and Lanzarote are the top destinations for the school holidays. Year on year Monarch Holidays is seeing a 50% increase on holiday bookings.
