We’re celebrating our 25th anniversary of closely working with Macmillan Cancer Support with champagne and bubbly especially after hitting the £4 million mark!
The airport celebrations were just the ticket to say a big thank you to Monarch customers who have helped raise an impressive £4 million during the last 25 years for people affected by cancer.  From donating loose change on board to stirring up support for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, our passengers and staff have really risen to the challenge to raise as much as we can for the worthwhile cause.

The chair of the Monarch Foundation Pauline Prow (pictured below) explains: “We are very proud of our partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer touches the lives of so many and we are delighted that we have managed to raise such a significant sum during the last 25 years through the continued generosity of our customers and staff”.

Our customers enjoyed champagne and cake at Birmingham Airport on the 7th of July 2014 to mark the occasion. Limited edition luggage tags were also presented to customers and children received fun flags to colour during their flight as a little treat.
