Customers affected by Low Cost Travel Group ceasing trading

Following the announcement that Low Cost Travel Group has ceased trading on 15th July 2016, customers booked to travel on Monarch flights or with accommodation provided through Monarch Hotels or somewhere2stay are advised of the following:

Customers booked on Monarch flights:

All Low Cost Travel bookings are required to be reconfirmed with Monarch before travel and no later than 19th August 2016. After this date all future unconfirmed Low Cost Travel bookings will be cancelled.

All customers in the first instance are advised to check the status of their booking at

If no booking is found, please email us using the email form selecting enquiry type “LowCostTravelGroup – Booking Enquiries”. Please include the following booking details and we will check the booking status and respond to you:

  • Names and surnames in the booking
  • Flight number
  • Flight dates
  • Origin and Destination
  • Booking reference
  • Customer email address
  • Customer phone number

Unconfirmed flight bookings made by Low Cost Travel Group, will no longer be valid for travel from Tuesday 19th July. Customers are advised to consider booking their new flight requirements directly with Monarch.

Customers who wish to change their Monarch flight can do so at Changes to flights are subject to standard published change fees and difference in fare.

Accommodation Bookings:

Bookings made with Monarch Hotels or Somewhere2stay for accommodation via Low Cost Travel Group will no longer be valid.  Customers are advised to refer to the Low Cost Travel Group website for further advice: or they can review the statement on the ABTA website:

Should a customer wish Monarch Hotels to source an alternative booking for them, they should call our contact centre on 0333 003 1789.

Customers seeking money back for their holiday or hotel booking are advised to check with their credit card issuer or travel insurer.
